Applications that require the use of UV protecting laminates:
Any indoor or outdoor ink jet printed materials should be protected from the harmful effects of Ultraviolet light, moisture and airborne pollutants.
How to use a UV weatherable laminate:
UV protecting films should be used as an overlaminate on the top surface of an ink jet print. It is highly recommended that an encapsulating laminate be used on the back surface of the print to seal the print from moisture. This combination should offer adequate protection against light fading and provide water fastness for extended indoor and outdoor applications. Please check with your distributor about specific guarantees with particular inks and media.
